Our paper on the origins of malignant rhabdoid tumours is out now in @NatureComms! A very nice collaboration between @prinsesmaximac and @sangerinstitute. Some findings, explanations and musings below.
Excited to share that our work exploring conditional gene essentiality is now online @Cell_Metabolism! Congrats to Nick, Kim, @hankadel, @HeatherKPhD – and of course, a big thanks to @DMSabatini, whose lab (& mentorship, support) is where this all began! https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1550413121000619
Very proud to present our work "Spatiotemporal dissection of the cell cycle with single-cell proteogenomics” in @nature today. A great (and long) team effort led by @Diana_Mahdesian @AnthonyCesnik, w @ProteinAtlas. A thread... #cellatlas #cellcycle https://go.nature.com/3sq8sKE
@BoShenUTSW discovered a periarteriolar niche for osteogenic and lymphoid progenitors in the bone marrow @nature. This niche requires mechanical stimulation! Exercise strengthens bone and immunity partly by forces transmitted into the BM along arterioles.
Transposons and phase separation! Homotypic clustering of L1 and B1/Alu repeats compartmentalizes the 3D genome. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41422-020-00466-6
