Meet Swathi Shekharan, 2023 GSK SUPR Summer Program Student
Swathi is a rising senior studying biomedical engineering and data science at the University of Virginia. She is interested in cancer biology, immunotherapy, and pharmacology and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering in the future. This summer, she is studying mechanisms of regulation of PGBD5, a promoter of oncogenic mutations in many developmental cancers.
