Talk: Rare Disease Day Symposium 2026
Childhood cancers are rare, but in spite and because of this, have yielded fundamental insights into human biology and precise medical therapies. In this talk, I summarize evidence for this idea, including recent models of young-onset cancer pathogenesis, and application of integrative proteogenomics for the discovery of improved disease biomarkers and disease-specific therapeutic targets.
