UltraQuant: Open framework for running MaxQuant mass spectrometry proteomics algorithms on Linux computer clusters
While computational genomics methods have been greatly advanced by open development in distributed computing environments, computational tools for mass spectrometry proteomics remain tethered to proprietary and often outdated operating systems.
We have now integrated the MaxQuant algorithms using snakemake and singularity workflow for open and scalable mass spectrometry data analysis on Linux computing clusters. As described in in details this UltraQuant github repo, this enables one-step installation and execution in essentially any Linux cluster computing environment.
