Meet Nathan Rice, 2022 Tri-I Gateways to the Laboratory Summer Program Student
Nathan is a rising junior student at Utica University studying Biology, with a minor in Healthcare Ethics. His love for research originated from past experiences at Utica, and he is interested in pursuing an MD-PhD after graduation. He joined our Tri-I Gateways program to learn first-hand about science and careers of physician-scientists. This summer, he is working to elucidate regulatory factors of PGBD5, the developmental mutator in many childhood and young-adult cancers. Welcome Nathan!
